Yesterday’s #practicedaily inspiration was all about what motivates us. What brings me back to my mat day after day? My answer is simple: JOY! I just love the way yoga makes me FEEL - it’s why I started doing yoga in the first place. There are so many ways to get fit - bouldering, running and gymnastics used to be my staples - but nothing nourishes my spirit like yoga does. Yoga makes me a more patient person, a better mother, more confident in myself, more accepting of change, more resilient, more grateful, more courageous, more invigorated, more alive! I love when my body, mind and breath feel in harmony. I love renewing my connection to the earth #everydamnday. And I love having a little more whimsy in my life, like handstanding in a sundress on this beautiful deck at Bell Park minutes after a wedding cleared out!
